TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the Mader Canada Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Recruitment Competition 2026 ("Promotion"). The Promotion is conducted by Mader Mining (Canada) Ltd., operating as Mader Group Canada ("Promoter"). By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Promoter

The Promoter is Mader Mining (Canada) Ltd., operating as Mader Group Canada, with its registered office at:

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT) on 8 August 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time (MT) on 30 October 2026 ("Promotion Period"). Only eligible entries received during the Promotion Period will be accepted.

  • be a legal resident of Canada (excluding Québec);
  • be 18 years of age or older;
  • apply for an eligible recruitment role promoted as part of this Promotion during the Promotion Period;
  • accept an offer of employment from the Promoter before the prize draw;
  • remain actively employed by the Promoter at the time of the applicable prize draw;
  • and comply with these Terms.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible for the Promotion, entrants must:

The Promotion is open only to successful applicants who accept an offer of employment for an eligible recruitment role as determined by the Promoter. Existing employees of the Promoter are not eligible to enter the New Starter Prize Draw.

4. How to Enter

There are two (2) ways to enter the Promotion.

4.1 New Starter Entry

Eligible applicants who:

Eligible referrals submitted through the Promoter's official Mates of Mader referral program during the Promotion Period will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Mates of Mader Prize Draw.


To be eligible:

4.2 Mates of Mader Entry

  • the referral must be submitted through the official Mates of Mader referral process during the Promotion Period;
  • the referred applicant must currently reside in Canada and must not already have been contacted by the Promoter's recruitment team;
  • the referred applicant must apply for an eligible recruitment role during the Promotion Period;
  • the referred applicant must accept an offer of employment from the Promoter before the prize draw;
  • the referred applicant must either:
  • apply for an eligible recruitment role during the Promotion Period;
  • accept an offer of employment from the Promoter before the prize draw;
  • and remain actively employed by the Promoter at the time of the draw, or, where their confirmed commencement date falls after the draw, continue to hold an accepted offer of employment with the Promoter at the time of the draw.

Referring employees will receive one (1) entry into the Mates of Mader Prize Draw for each eligible referral that satisfies these Terms.


No additional action is required.

5. Prize Details

5.1 New Starter Prize

One (1) eligible entrant from the New Starter Prize Draw will receive:

  • One (1) Grandstand ticket to the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026.
  • One (1) return economy airfare from the winner's designated Point of Hire (POH) airport to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
  • Three (3) nights' accommodation in Las Vegas from 19 November to 22 November 2026.

One (1) eligible referral from the Mates of Mader Prize Draw will receive the same prize described in Section 5.1. The employee who submitted the winning referral through the official Mates of Mader referral program will also receive the same prize described in Section 5.1.

5.2 Mates of Mader Prize

The prize:

  • is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash;
  • must be accepted as awarded;
  • may not be substituted except at the sole discretion of the Promoter;
  • and is subject to these Terms & Conditions.

6. Draw & Winner Selection

6.1 New Starter Prize Draw

One (1) winner will be selected by random draw conducted by the Promoter from all eligible New Starter entries.

One (1) referred employee will be selected by random draw by the Promoter from all eligible Mates of Mader entries. The employee who submitted the winning referral through the official Mates of Mader referral program will also receive the corresponding prize.

6.2 Mates of Mader Prize Draw

Two (2) prize draws will be conducted on 31 October 2026 at the Promoter's Calgary office.


All winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms prior to the prize being awarded.

6.3 Draw Details

7. Winner Notification, Verification & Prize Claim

The selected winners will be contacted using the contact details held by the Promoter.


To claim the prize, winners must, within five (5) business days of being notified:

  • confirm acceptance of the prize;
  • correctly answer a mandatory skill testing question;
  • provide proof of identity and any other information reasonably requested by the Promoter to verify their eligibility, including age, residency and employment status;
  • and provide any additional information reasonably required to facilitate prize fulfilment.
  • cannot be contacted;
  • does not respond or claim the prize within five (5) business days;
  • fails to correctly answer the skill testing question;
  • fails to provide satisfactory proof of eligibility;
  • is found to be ineligible;
  • or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms,

All selected winners are subject to verification of eligibility before the prize is awarded.


The Promoter is not responsible for unsuccessful attempts to contact a selected winner using the contact details held by the Promoter.


If a selected winner:

the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner will be selected by random draw within five (5) business days.

  • meals and beverages;
  • ground transportation;
  • travel insurance;
  • passport and visa costs;
  • checked baggage fees;
  • spending money;
  • optional upgrades;
  • and any incidental expenses.

Unless otherwise stated, all other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner, including but not limited to:

The Promoter will cover all mandatory hotel taxes and resort fees associated with the booked accommodation.


Winners are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas and any other travel documentation required to enter the United States.


Winners may request changes to their travel itinerary after it has been confirmed by the Promoter.


Any approved changes are subject to availability, and any additional costs arising from those changes will be the sole responsibility of the winner.


If the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is cancelled, postponed, materially changed, or any element of the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the affected element, or the prize in whole, with a prize of equal or greater value.


The Promoter is not responsible for cancellations, delays, schedule changes or other disruptions caused by airlines, accommodation providers, event organisers or other third party suppliers.

  • one (1) Grandstand ticket to the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026;
  • one (1) return economy airfare from the winner's designated Point of Hire (POH) airport to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA;
  • and three (3) nights' accommodation in Las Vegas from 19 November to 22 November 2026.

Travel will be arranged by the Promoter.

9. General Conditions

9.1

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  • provides false, misleading or incomplete information;
  • breaches these Terms;
  • tampers with the entry process;
  • otherwise attempts to gain an unfair advantage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion;
  • or engages in conduct that the Promoter considers fraudulent, misleading or detrimental to the Promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and may request documentation or information necessary to confirm eligibility.

9.2

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, cancel or terminate the Promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

9.3

The Promoter's decisions regarding all aspects of the Promotion, including eligibility, winner selection and prize allocation, are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9.4

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

9.6

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta in relation to any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.

By participating in the Promotion, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Promotion.


Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay or expense arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.


The Promoter is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third party suppliers involved in providing the prize.

12. Marketing & Publicity

By accepting the prize, winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities relating to the Promotion where requested by the Promoter and permitted by law.

This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Formula One Management Limited, Formula One Licensing BV, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), or any of their respective affiliates. Formula 1®, Formula One®, Las Vegas Grand Prix® and all related trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for the purpose of describing the prize.

13. Formula 1 Disclaimer

The Promotion may be advertised through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., LinkedIn, or any other social media platform. All enquiries regarding the Promotion should be directed to the Promoter.

Referring employees will receive one (1) entry into the Mates of Mader Prize Draw for each eligible referral that satisfies these Terms.


Where these Terms conflict with the Mates of Mader Program Terms & Conditions, these Terms will prevail for the purposes of this Promotion.

  • remain actively employed by the Promoter at the time of the draw;
  • or where their confirmed commencement date falls after the draw, continue to hold an accepted offer of employment with the Promoter at the time of the draw;
  • the referring employee must remain actively employed by the Promoter at the time of the draw;
  • employees may not refer themselves;
  • and where multiple employees refer the same applicant, only the first valid referral submitted through the official Mates of Mader referral process will be eligible.
