MADER CANADA WINTER CAMPAIGN 2026

PRIZE PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions (“Terms”) that apply to the Winter Campaign (“Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to these Terms and confirms they have read and understood our Privacy Policy at https://www.madergroup.ca/privacy-policy/. Please also see how we limit our liability in the “Limitation of Liability” Section below.


This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Expedia or any of its affiliates. References to Expedia are for prize description purposes only.

1. Promoter

The promoter of this campaign is Mader Canada Ltd (the “Promoter”). Registered office: 5735 7 St NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 8V3.

2. Campaign Name

The campaign is titled Winter Campaign 2026 (the “Campaign”).

3. Promotion Period

The Campaign commences at 12:00 a.m. (Mountain Time) on 1 January 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time) on 30 March 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).

4. Eligibility

Entry is open to individuals who, at the time of the prize draw:

  • are 18 years of age or older;
  • are legal residents of Canada;
  • are actively employed by the Promoter in Canada; and
  • have successfully completed any applicable probationary period*;
  • if you have referred an employee via the Mates of Mader program subject to criteria in Section 17 having been met.
    The following individuals are excluded from entry:
  • residents of Québec.

5. How to Enter

Eligible participants will receive one (1) entry into the Campaign if they, during the Promotion Period:

  • apply for a position with the Promoter;
  • accept an offer of employment from the Promoter;
  • commence employment with the Promoter; and
  • remain actively employed by the Promoter at the time the prize draw is conducted.

Applicants who apply but do not commence employment, or whose employment ends for any reason prior to the draw date, are not eligible to receive an entry.

6. Entry Conditions

  • One entry per eligible person.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win this Campaign;
  • Incomplete, illegible, late, misdirected, or corrupted entries will be deemed invalid;
  • The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of entries and entrants;
  • The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, engages in any fraudulent or improper conduct, or otherwise breaches these Terms & Conditions.
  • Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Prize Details

Prize description: Expedia Holiday Voucher (the “Prize”)

Total approximate retail value: $5,000 CAD

Number of winners: One (1) (the “Winner”)

7.1 Prize

7.2 Prize Conditions

  • The Prize is provided in the form of a voucher and is subject to all terms and conditions imposed by the issuing provider, including expiry dates, booking restrictions, blackout periods, and availability;
  • The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash, except at the sole discretion of the Promoter;
  • If the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value;
  • The Promoter makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Prize;
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, delay, modification, unavailability, or failure of any travel, accommodation, service, or experience booked using the Prize;
  • Any costs not expressly stated as being included in the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner;
  • The Winner is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable travel requirements, laws, regulations, and advisories.

7.3 Taxation

  • The Prize may constitute a taxable benefit to the Winner under the Income Tax Act (Canada);
  • Any tax liability arising from acceptance or use of the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Winner;
  • The Promoter will not provide tax gross-ups or reimbursements.

8. Draw & Winner Selection

The Winner will be selected by random draw on 1 April 2026 at 09:00 (Mountain Time). The draw will take place at the Promoter’s registered head office in Calgary, Alberta, or by electronic draw. The Promoter’s decision is final.

9. Winner Notification & Claiming

The Winner will be notified within three (3) business days of the draw and must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before being declared the Winner. The Winner must claim the Prize within five (5) business days of notification.

10. Verification

The Winner may be required to provide proof of identity, age, residency, and employment eligibility prior to receiving the Prize.


The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant whom they feel may have manipulated the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the Conditions of Entry.

11. Privacy

By entering the Campaign, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Campaign.


Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

12. Marketing & Publicity

By accepting the Prize, the Winner consents to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes where permitted by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Campaign or use of the Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Cancellation & Changes

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Campaign if required by law or circumstances beyond its control.

15. Platform Disclaimer

This Campaign is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

17. Mates of Mader – Campaign-Specific Terms

17.1 Eligibility

Referrers and referred candidates must meet all eligibility requirements set out in Section 4, in addition to the following:

  • Referrers must be current employees of the Promoter;
  • Referred candidates must be new to Mader Canada and must not have previously applied or been engaged.

17.2 How to Refer

  • Referrers must submit the candidate’s full name, contact details, trade, and any other required information to the relevant Mates of Mader email address and their Mader Manager;
  • Referrals must be submitted before the referred candidate submits an application or is otherwise engaged by the Promoter;
  • Only one referrer is permitted per candidate. The first valid referral received, based on date and time, will be recognised.

17.3 Valid Referral

  • Referrers must submit the candidate’s full name, contact details, trade, and any other required information to the relevant Mates of Mader email address and their Mader Manager;
  • Referrals must be submitted before the referred candidate submits an application or is otherwise engaged by the Promoter;
  • Only one referrer is permitted per candidate. The first valid referral received, based on date and time, will be recognised.

17.4 Entries

  • Each valid referral that meets the above criteria will result in one (1) entry into the Campaign draw;
  • Referred candidates will also receive one (1) entry.

17.5 Payments & Bonuses

  • Any Mates of Mader referral payments or bonuses associated with this Campaign will be paid separately and in accordance with standard payroll processes;
  • All payments are subject to applicable tax withholdings and statutory deductions;
  • Payment timing and amounts are governed by the Mates of Mader program terms in place at the time of referral.

17.6 General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify all referrals and disqualify any referral that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions;
  • Participation in Mates of Mader constitutes acceptance of both these Campaign Terms & Conditions and the broader Mates of Mader program terms.

* If you have entered near the end of the campaign and have not yet passed probation, you may be drawn as a winner but cannot claim the prize until you have officially passed probation.
